For National Pecan Month –
Savory Honey Glazed Pecans
April is National Pecan Month. Since pecans are such a big crop for farmers in Georgia, we want to share a great pecan recipe. What’s even better is that the pecans are sweetened with raw honey. This combination intensifies their nutritional value. Imagine your children or grandchildren eating this healthy snack, serving a bowl of Savory Honey Glazed Pecans as an Appetizer, or taking a sealed container with you to a sports event.
Are Pecans Healthy?
When I was researching the health benefits of eating pecans, one of the things that impressed me was that every 100 grams of pecans contains 25 grams of Vitamin E. Since I hunt around for sources for fat soluble vitamins, I was glad to hear that a Georgia-Grown food product was loaded with this important antioxidant. Here are some other nutritional facts about pecans.
