The Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 tablespoon Bee Wild Meyer Lemon Honey (or to taste)
- Pinch of cayenne
Instructions
- Place the ginger, cloves, and turmeric in a teapot and pour on the boiling water.
- Stir in the honey, cover and let steep for 30 minutes.
- Strain and reheat, if desired, but do not boil.
- Just before serving add a tiny pinch of cayenne.
Notes
Note: The pinch of cayenne (or black pepper if you don't have cayenne) will increase the benefits of the turmeric.
