Honey Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Ingredients
- 2 c. pumpkin seeds (about 2 small pumpkins), cleaned
- 2 tsp. pumpkin seed oil
- 2 tbsp.Bee Wild raw honey
- Finishing sea salt to taste
Instructions
- Set your oven to 325 degrees F
- Clean your pumpkin and remove the seeds.
- Make sure the seeds are clean and dry, while you make a pumpkin pie!
- Warm your iron skillet over medium heat.
- Add oil.
- Saute pumpkin seeds until they are golden brown.
- Stir in the honey, coating the pumpkin seeds thoroughly.
- Place the skillet in the oven for about 20-30 minutes, stirring the pumpkin seeds every few minutes so they don't stick or burn.
- When the pumpkin seeds are crisp with a little softness in the middle, they are done.
- Sprinkle with finishing salt while the seeds are warm.
- Cool on a teflon or non-stick baking sheet.
- It's time to have a snack!
