Cinnamon and Honey Tea
During the holiday season, we shared our Cinnamon and Honey Tea with visitors to our events. It was a big hit, and people remarked on how warm and comforting the tea was. What is even better is that people enjoyed the tea’s delicious, “Christmasy” flavor.

In the past we’ve done several posts on cinnamon and honey as a holistic wellness tool. Click here for our original post on the wellness benefits of cinnamon and honey. Click here for our post on Cinnamon and Honey for Weight Loss.
Since we are not licensed health care professionals, we recommend that you seek the guidance of your health care professional before starting using this tea.
Ingredients
- 1 cup good quality water
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp Bee Wild raw honey
Instructions
- Boil water in a small saucepan and add 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
- Stir the cinnamon into the water with a whisk until there are no lumps, and it is not floating. Reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan for 30 minutes.
- Add 1 teaspoon of honey to the steeped cinnamon water and whisk until it becomes a homogenous mixture and you can no longer see the honey in the mixture.
- Pour the cinnamon honey mixture into a small jar and put the lid on it tightly. Keep it at room temperature to avoid the honey from crystallizing at the top.
Notes
You can add the cinnamon honey tea to your coffee, hot tea, hot lemon, warm milk, and other warm drinks. I would begin by using 1/2-1 tsp per cup of hot liquid.
