The Recipe
Ingredients
- Turmeric Paste:
- 1/4 cup of organic turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of organic ground pepper
- 1/2 cup of filtered water
- Golden Milk:
- 1 cup of organic almond milk (hemp or coconut are also good options)
- 1 teaspoon organic coconut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon or more of turmeric paste
- Bee Wild Raw Honey to taste
Instructions
- Make Turmeric Paste:
- Put a saucepan on medium low to medium heat.
- Add the turmeric paste ingredients.
- Stir ingredients continuously while heating until a paste is formed.
- Turn off heat.
- Store the paste in a container in the refrigerator.
- Make Golden Milk:
- Mix all ingredients, except the honey, in a sauce pan.
- Heat until very warm but do not boil.
- Sweeten with honey to taste.
